But is that what you’ll actually pay?

We look for the stuff that can turn that $99 offer into something much more expensive:

Because sometimes the most important part of an offer isn’t written in the biggest letters.
It’s written in the smallest ones.
We Check the Claims
Every company wants to tell you why they’re the best.
That’s marketing. We understand that.
But when we see a claim that matters, we want to know what’s behind it.
When appropriate, we check company information against sources such as the FDA, medical research, drug manufacturers, government sources, and other reliable information.
We aren’t looking for reasons to attack companies.
We’re looking for reasons to trust what they’re telling you.
And if something doesn’t add up, we’ll tell you that too.
We Look at the Treatment
Price isn’t the only thing that matters.
We also look at what medications and treatment options a provider offers and any important differences you should understand.
With GLP-1 treatment, for example, there can be big differences between brand-name and compounded medications.
We’ll explain those differences as simply as we can.
What we won’t do is tell you which medication you should take.
That’s between you and a qualified healthcare professional.
Where Do We Get Our Information?
Whenever we can, we go straight to the source.
We check provider websites, pricing pages, terms and conditions, refund and cancellation policies, FDA information, published research, government sources, and manufacturer information.
Then we try to turn all of that into something a normal human being can actually understand.
You shouldn’t have to read 30 pages to find the one sentence that matters.
Things Change
This is especially true in telehealth.
Prices change. Promotions disappear. Policies change. Medications become available or unavailable.
So while we work hard to keep Truth or Hype accurate, you should always double-check important pricing, eligibility, and treatment information with the provider before making a decision.
And if something we’ve published is wrong or outdated, we want to know about it.
